M. Shane Stevenson, D.M.D., M.D., is a native of North Alabama.
Graduated magna cum laude in Professional Biology from the University of North Alabama in 1996.
Earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2000.
Received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2004.
Completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2006.
Opened his private Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in Decatur in 2006.
Holds an active appointment at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
